artist: own it

hey ya’ll!

thanks for all the love and support.
i got the email today that I was not accepted as a vendor for the juried craft show.

while i would have been over the moon to be able to show my work, it really solidifies for me that i do not really belong in the realm of crafters.

it is time to own it- i am an artist.

i don’t like to make things because they are on trend. i don’t like to mass produce. i like to make things that make my heart sing. and i want to sell these pieces of me to people who find their own emotion in my art.

and by putting it out there i have a few more people that are interested in what i am creating, and so onward and upward and forward we go.
