i got started a little early this week, since i knew we would be gone this weekend. i decided to keep going with a board i started stenciling last weekend, when i ended up making some string art.
i am trying out a different format, so i hope you like it. you can click on any of the photos below to make them larger and/or flip through them like a slide show.
here is the board after the first round of stenciling.
while i was trying to find a stencil of a girl i painted last year, i came across some wax paper that i had been using to press a leaf in a book last fall. i used the wax paper, traced my lady. cut her out and there was my stencil.

here is the paper after i cut my girls out. don’t think i won’t be using this, because i will.
once i cut the ladies out, i used mod podge to adhere them to the board and then covered the whole board with a layer.
and here they are the next day, looking all dry and awesome.
