anthonio

yesterday i was supposed to pick up my dress.
and as we were zipping it, we ripped it. total bummer. it was the original zipper that came with the dress, and from the start janay worried about its quality.
thank god it did it yesterday and not on the day of the wedding. so i am going to stay in kc a few days longer and pick it up on monday, after an industrial strength zipper (or whatever) has been sewn in.
oh yeah, i am also going to buy some spanx and try not to be such a lush for booze and cheese.

but today was about b’s clothes.
a few months ago he bought a groupon to moda domani, a swanky men’s store in leawood.
this was where he bought his first ever sport coat and came home talking about this wonderful tailor and his store.
when it was time to find his outfit for the wedding he wanted to go back.
so today we went.
anthonio is such a kind man, with impeccable taste and a wonderful accent that makes you feel classier. i always imagined that going to a custom clothier would be a snobbish experience. that perhaps our casual wear would cause us to be treated differently than the business man that comes in monthly. not the case. he remembered bryce from buying his coat. he didn’t hold back on showing us things, or giving us options that were pricier. he listened to what we wanted and shared his ideas and opinions.
he would never let us make a bad decision. he was so fun to work with. what a nice experience. after looking through many options and many beautiful fabrics, we got it figured out.
b is getting a custom made tweed, 5 button vest and custom brown slacks. we also picked out a shirt and tie.
it is all beautifully made. i can’t wait to see it on him.
so now we need to find him shoes and he is all set.

well, we still have to talk facial hair…
