this morning i woke up about 7:00 and looked at my phone to see just how hot the weather will be today. my cousin, mama and i are planning on planting my aunt’s flower beds today. my phone showed me a sun with a cactus. i have never seen that before, but i am pretty sure it means we are screwed. oh well, the show must go on!
yesterday we scored big at an antique mall in monett, mo and another off I-44 on the way into springfield. we found the bottles i was looking for at much lower prices than i had seen previously and even scored some great table cloths. and oh the stuff at the second place! it was PACKED! booths full of mason jars, and quilts, and boy scout coffee mugs, and old radios, and life magazines,and whatever your little heart can dream of, with a lovely spattering of taxidermy. i will be going back to this one, and bringing some people with me. i can think of a few of you would LOVE it (kelly, i am talking about you).
