i am so sick of the term shabby chic. i actually felt a little ill as i typed it.
when people ask about wedding plans and i describe what i have been liking everyone goes with shabby chic. (cringe) when i do a google image search for shabby chic wedding i get lots of white, cream, pink, beige. i love these colors, but not for our wedding.

doesn’t chic mean elegant and stylish? i am not looking for an elegant wedding. i want a FUN wedding. i want everyone to feel comfortable and to have a great time. i want to use things that mean a lot to our families.
today kelly gave me a term i like…country with class. we went to the river market antique mall and kel suggested that i take pictures of the stuff i liked. she is so smart.
after seeing all the pictures together i realized that it is more like country fair.
what do you think, besides that i take bad pics with my phone? honestly? i have yet to share any of this with b, so you are getting it at the same time he is.
and if i could have gotten my hands on 75 of these i would have been in heaven. this guy’s a framer.
