it finally feels like christmastime. we didn’t put up a tree this year. we have never actually had a tree. i didn’t even get any of my crap out. but we have all ready agreed to buy lights and things when they go on sale this year.
tonight i ran one last (yeah right. who am i kidding?) christmas gift errand to finish up up bryce’s gift. he and (finally) did all the shopping we had to do in real life on tuesday night. and the house has had quite a few deliveries. but we still have lots of wrapping today.
on the way home i picked up some subway for dinner. and then the mister made me a drink.

he went down to mess with the fire and work on his rock climbing room.
i turned on some christmas tunes ( i know mom and siiiiister, be proud) and got my wrap on.
i got bryce’s wrapped, so at least he can come out of the basement, if he wants.
did you know the bird and the bee did a rendition of carol of the bells? me either. it was lovely. check it out. i would try to find you a link, but i have to get back to wrapping.
confession: i am horrible at wrapping, but i really enjoy it. the paper is sledom straight. sometimes i use too much time, other times not enough. but i still really enjoy it.
just wanted to wish you a merry christmas/happy hanukkah/lovely winter solstice/whateveritisyoudothistimeofyear, in case i run out of time… which, seems to be the theme of this holiday season for me.
i would love to babble, but i seriously have a ton of wrapping to do before we head out of town.
