last night i dreamt i was playing soccer. it was a pick-up game at dusk. the teams were differentiated by different colored headbands, but when it got too dark everyone switched their shirts around so one team was light-colored and the other was dark.the teams were made up of people who looked familiar but i couldn’t really place, except our wedding photographer and a girl who i used to play soccer with. i was playing center mid and was totally exhausted. i remember feeling like i got the wind knocked out of me after one up and back and thinking about how out of shape i am. i was also wearing a helmet…i have no idea why, but it made it extremely difficult to execute a header, which seemed to be my main form of contact with the ball. at the end of the dream someone took a shot on goal and the keeper deflected it, it randomly hit off my thigh and landed in the back of the net.
what does it mean? no clue. i have the strangest dreams.
