assigned seating at receptions? how do you feel about it?
i don’t want to assign everyone a seat, but i know i need to reserve some…at what point do i stop?
you discuss, while i finish making these signs. okay?

Just have assigned seating for wedding party and immediate family, everyone else can find a seat all by theirselves !
I think it’s too much work with little reward – people will work it out on their own plus the point is to boogy, not to sit!
When I used to work at a wedding venue, we would encourage people to assign seats. In our experience, when seats are not assigned you will end up with many tables that have one seat open and the people who are the last to arrive will find that they can’t sit together.
The last wedding we went to, there was assigned seating and everyone ended up swapping to sit by certain people, etc. So I would recommend wedding party and the parents / grandparents and the rest can figure it out! I think that’s the easiest for you! 🙂
